Marlon Funaki is a 23-year-old solo artist from Redlands, California, known for his genre-blending sound that combines the grit of alternative rock with psychedelic tones and jazz-influenced guitar. Of Japanese and Mexican American heritage, Funaki songwrites, produces, and mixes all of his own work. He first gained attention at age 16 with his debut SoundCloud single and has since built a following of over 1.5 million monthly Spotify listeners. His discography includes the album Monterey Village (2022), the album Under Fire (2024), and the EP Half Moon (2026). Funaki has performed at notable events including Luck Reunion at Willie Nelson's ranch in Texas.
