Balu Brigada is a New Zealand indie rock and alt-pop duo originally from Auckland, led by multi-instrumentalist brothers Henry and Pierre Beasley, who formed the band in 2016. They signed with Atlantic Records and Warner Music Australia in 2022, relocated to New York City, and gained widespread international attention after opening for Twenty One Pilots on the U.S. leg of the Clancy World Tour in 2024. Their debut album, Portal, was released on August 29, 2025, following a string of viral singles including "So Cold" and "Designer."
