Brooklyn rock band formed in 2016 by high school friends Cameron Winter, Max Bassin, and Emily Green at the Park Slope Rock School. Later joined by bassist Dominic DiGesu, they signed with Partisan Records and released their debut Projector in 2021. Their sound spans indie rock, art rock, and post-punk, drawing comparisons to both classic New York acts and contemporary experimental groups. Their fourth album Getting Killed (2025) earned widespread acclaim, landing at number one on year-end lists from Stereogum and The New Yorker, and leading to a Saturday Night Live performance in January 2026.
