Suicidal Tendencies is a legendary Venice, Los Angeles crossover thrash and hardcore punk band formed in 1980 by frontman Mike Muir. Emerging from the early 1980s skate punk scene, they became pioneers of crossover thrash with their self-titled 1983 debut, which featured the genre-defining anthem Institutionalized. Over the decades they evolved through hardcore punk, thrash metal, and funk-infused heavy rock, releasing influential albums such as Join the Army, How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can’t Even Smile Today, Lights...Camera...Revolution!, and The Art of Rebellion.
