Laufey Lín Bing Jónsdóttir is an Icelandic singer-songwriter born in Reykjavík in 1999. Blending jazz pop, classical, and bossa nova, she rose to fame through elegant covers of jazz standards on TikTok during the pandemic. A Berklee College of Music graduate and former cello soloist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, she won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the Grammys for both Bewitched (2024) and A Matter of Time (2026). Named one of Time's Women of the Year in 2025 and awarded Iceland's Knight's Cross of the Order of the Falcon in 2026.
