Irish shoegaze and indie rock band formed in Galway in 2018. The group — Julie Dawson (vocals, guitar), Sean O'Dowd (lead guitar), and Fiachra Parslow (drums) — came together to avoid solo performances for their Leaving Certificate music exam and took their name from a random band generator. After early singles caught BBC 6 Music attention, they signed to Fair Youth/Atlantic Records. Their debut album Madra (2024) explored mental health and personal upheaval amid their rapid rise, followed by second album Altar (2025). Known for lush, atmospheric guitar work and ethereal vocals layered over driving rhythms.
