Midnight Generation is a disco-funk group from Chihuahua, Mexico, led by Fernando Mares. Formed in 2014, the band blends funk, disco, and electronic pop, drawing inspiration from artists like Nile Rodgers, Prince, and the Bee Gees. Their lineup includes Fernando Mares (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Luis Carlos Valderrama (keyboards, backing vocals), Carlos Amaya (bass, keyboards), Samuel Marquez (drums, backing vocals), and Diego Bustillos (percussion). Known for hits like Don't Wait Up and Young Girl, they have released albums including Afterlife (2023) and Tender Love (2025). They have collaborated with and opened for ZHU, Polo&Pan, Chromeo, and Sticky Fingers, performing at major festivals across the Americas.
