The Neighbourhood (stylized as THE NBHD) is an American alternative rock band formed in Newbury Park, California in 2011. Composed of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, bassist Mikey Margott and drummer Brandon Fried, the band fuses rock instrumentation with R&B and hip-hop aesthetics. They broke through in 2012 with the singles "Female Robbery" and the multi-platinum hit "Sweater Weather", later releasing their debut album I Love You. via Columbia Records in 2013. Follow-up records include Wiped Out! (2015), Hard to Imagine the Neighbourhood Ever Changing (2018), Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones (2020), and their deluxe reissue in 2022.
