Bedouin is an American electronic music duo consisting of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe. As multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, songwriters, and producers, they blend their Middle Eastern heritage, Western upbringing, and international experiences into a genre-defying sound rooted in deep, desert-inspired shades of house music. The duo met at the BPM Festival in Mexico around 2008, naming themselves after the nomadic communities stretching between their respective homelands of Egypt and Jordan. They have released music on Crosstown Rebels, All Day I Dream, Circoloco Records, and their own imprint Human by Default. Notable achievements include two BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix appearances, Mixmag Breakthrough Artists recognition in 2017, and their Ibiza residency Saga winning Best Night in Ibiza at the 2019 DJ Awards. Their debut album Temple of Dreams was released on Human by Default.
