Asheville, North Carolina indie rock band formed in 2017, led by vocalist/guitarist Karly Hartzman. The band blends shoegaze, noise rock, and alternative country with vivid storytelling about life in the American South. Current lineup includes MJ Lenderman (guitar), Xandy Chelmis (pedal steel), Alan Miller (drums), and Ethan Baechtold (bass). Their critically acclaimed fifth album Rat Saw God (2023) established them as one of indie rock's most compelling acts.
