Canadian indie rock band from Quadra Island, British Columbia, formed in 2005 by siblings Ryan and Molly Guldemond. Known for quirky alternative rock anthems and otherworldly vocal harmonies, the five-piece group experienced a massive TikTok-driven resurgence in late 2020, with songs like Hayloft, Verbatim, Arms Tonite, and Burning Pile going viral. Their music resonates deeply with themes of alienation, self-expression, and identity. With over 6 billion global streams and hits like Hayloft II certified Gold in the US, Mother Mother has grown from underground indie favorites to international headliners.
