Chicago native turned Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Jamie Sitter, known as J. Worra, fuses classic house with modern tech house. Originally from Spring Grove, Illinois, she fell in love with dance music after moving to Chicago and taught herself production in 2010. Her groovy, tech house productions oscillate between heavy bass and bouncy house, earning her DJ Mag's 2019 Breakthrough Music Producer of the Year. She has released on labels including Insomniac Records, Ultra, Higher Ground, and Realm Records, and produced remixes for GRiZ, Gryffin, Gorgon City, Kaskade, and deadmau5.
