A Hundred Drums is the project of Gabrielle Watson, a Los Angeles-born, Denver-based DJ and multi-instrumentalist whose genre-defiant sound spans dubstep, psychedelic bass, psytrance, reggae, and experimental hip-hop, all anchored by her use of live indigenous hand drums. Since launching the project in 2006, she has released music on Zeds Dead's Deadbeats label and Gravitas Recordings, including the politically charged 2021 EP 'Enough Is Enough,' which addresses racism and police violence and highlights the struggles of being Black in America. She has also toured as support for major acts like REZZ and Zeds Dead.
