Hot Since 82 is the stage name of Daley Padley, a British house music DJ and producer born on 16 September 1982 in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. He began DJing at the age of 17, playing marathon sets in his hometown before adopting the Hot Since 82 moniker in 2011. His breakthrough track Let It Ride reached number three on Beatport's deep house chart that year. He founded the Knee Deep In Sound label and has released acclaimed albums including Little Black Book (2013), 8-track (2019), and Recovery (2020), the latter featuring collaborations with Boy George, Jamie Jones, and Rudimental. A multi-million streaming artist, he has held Ibiza residencies at Pacha, Space, and Amnesia, and performed at major festivals including Glastonbury and Coachella. Proceeds from 8-track were donated to mental health charity MIND.
