Baby Keem (born Hykeem Jamaal Carter Jr., October 22, 2000) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from Carson, California, raised in Las Vegas. Known for his elastic vocal style and eclectic trap/hip-hop production, he broke through with the 2019 sleeper hit 'Orange Soda' and his debut studio album The Melodic Blue (2021), which peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 and earned him a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance for 'Family Ties' with his cousin Kendrick Lamar. Signed to pgLang and Columbia Records, he has collaborated with Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Kanye West, and Beyoncé, and released his sophomore album Ca$ino in February 2026.
