Motifv is the musical moniker of Joseph Kechter, a producer and musician from the foothills of Northern Colorado. His meticulously engineered fusion of gospel-inflected sampling, electro-soul textures, futuristic synthesis, and experimental low-end design has carved a distinctive niche in modern bass and sample-based music. His debut album The Path (2019) laid the groundwork for his genre-fluid explorations, followed by the concept album Dilated Mind (2021) via Featherweight Records, and the companion EPs Where the Sun Sets and Behind the Moon (2024) on Philos Records.
