Danish DJ and producer Morten Breum, known professionally as MORTEN, is a pioneer of the future rave genre alongside David Guetta. Born on May 26, 1982, in Aarhus, Denmark, he began DJing at 14 and broke through with the platinum-certified single "Drop!" in 2009. Since 2019, MORTEN and Guetta have defined the future rave sound, blending the energy of EDM with the futuristic textures of techno and the emotion of trance. Their collaboration has amassed over 1 billion streams across platforms. In 2021, MORTEN entered the DJ Mag Top 100 as the highest new entry at number 39. He has headlined major festivals including Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, and Tomorrowland, and held residencies at Hï Ibiza.
