Steve Aoki is an American DJ, record producer, and music executive born November 30, 1977, in Miami, Florida. He is the founder and CEO of Dim Mak Records, which he launched in 1996 and has released music from artists including Bloc Party, The Chainsmokers, and The Bloody Beetroots. Known for his high-energy live shows featuring his signature cake-throwing antics, Aoki has collaborated with a wide range of artists including BTS, Louis Tomlinson, Linkin Park, will.i.am, and Afrojack. He has been nominated for Grammy Awards and was recognized by Pollstar as one of the highest-grossing dance artists in North America. His discography includes albums such as Wonderland, Neon Future I-IV, and HiROQUEST.
