Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Luuk van Dijk (born 1996) began creating electronic music at age 15. Raised by an opera singer and a music teacher, he went on to study at Herman Brood Academy. Known for his strong basslines and groovy vibe with a clear old-school vision, his productions have been released on labels such as Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, Eastenderz, and VIVa Music. He has performed at Paradise, Awakenings, elrow, DGTL, Cocoon, and Straf_Werk alongside artists like Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Adam Beyer, and Sven Väth. In 2020 he launched his own imprint Dark Side of the Sun, and in 2022 released his debut album First Contact.
