Dixon's Violin is the stage name of Dixon Hammond, a visionary violinist who improvises on a 5-string electric violin with a looping system he developed to create an all-live one-man symphony. A former technology leader and symphony violinist trained since age 10, he walked away from a distinguished career in tech startups to pursue music full-time after a transformative experience at Burning Man in 2005. He has performed at over 1,000 concerts across North America, delivered five TED talks, and been a fixture at Electric Forest and Burning Man for over a decade.
