The Floridians are a South Florida-based indie psychedelic rock band founded in 2021 by vocalist/guitarist Ian Renaud and synth/keyboardist David Gonzalez. Their sound blends shimmering synths, driving bass, and sun-soaked guitar textures, ranging from uplifting indie ballads to dark, ominous psychedelic trips. The five-piece group is known for energetic live performances and dream-pop aesthetics, and has performed at festivals including Sunfest and III Points, opening for acts such as Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads.
