Koastle is an indie-electronic duo from Orange County, California, consisting of Andy Mueller and Brett Beaudette. Meeting in college at TCU in fall 2015, the pair bonded over a shared passion for electronic music — Brett had been DJing since age 14, inspired by dubstep artists like Flux Pavilion and Skrillex, while Andy had been producing since 14, drawn to Avicii and Martin Garrix. Both later gravitated toward Flume and ODESZA, shaping a signature sound that blends wonky future bass beats with bittersweet chords, glittering synth textures, and gritty bass bursts. Since their debut release in 2021, Koastle has amassed over 50 million cross-platform streams and released their debut album In The Beginning in 2025.
