The Disco Biscuits are an American electronic jam band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in 1995. The group - Jon Gutwillig (guitar), Marc Brownstein (bass), Aron Magner (keyboards), and longtime drummer Allen Aucoin (2005-2025) - pioneered a fusion of improvisational jam-band rock with electronic dance music they call trance fusion, becoming one of the first jam bands to incorporate rave and electronic elements into their live sound. Known for marathon improvisational sets, ambitious rock operas (Hot Air Balloon, Chemical Warfare Brigade, Revolution in Motion), and founding the Camp Bisco festival, they remain a cornerstone of the livetronica scene.
