Bay Area-born, Los Angeles-based electronic music producer and DJ Daniel Howland, known as SVDDEN DEATH, is renowned for heavy, unnerving, experimental dubstep anthems and intense on-stage performances. After growing up on deathcore, trance, and electro, he debuted the SVDDEN DEATH project with the 2017 EP Spelljam on Never Say Die Black Label, followed by underground hit Take Ya Head Off. He has since headlined Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, and Red Rocks, collaborated with Marshmello on Sell Out (2019), and launched side projects including VOYD, Summoning of the Eclipse, and MELLODEATH.
