Subtronics is the stage name of Jesse Kardon, an American dubstep and bass music producer and DJ from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Known for his aggressive sound design, wonky basslines and high-energy live shows, he rose to prominence in the late 2010s with releases on labels like Disciple and Never Say Die, and his 2019 GRiZ collaboration "Griztronics" peaked at No. 9 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. In 2020 he founded his own label, Cyclops Recordings, named after his fanbase the Cyclops Army, and has since become one of the most in-demand headliners in US bass music, winning multiple Dubstep Artist of the Year honors and DJ Mag North America's DJ of the Year in 2023.
