Armin van Buuren is a Dutch DJ, record producer, and electronic music pioneer born on December 25, 1976, in Leiden, Netherlands, best known as a leading figure in trance music. Since 2001, he has hosted the weekly radio show 'A State of Trance,' broadcast to nearly 40 million listeners across 84 countries, helping cultivate global interest in the genre. He has been ranked #1 DJ by DJ Mag a record five times, received a Grammy nomination for 'This Is What It Feels Like,' and co-founded Armada Music, one of the world's largest independent dance music labels.
