Nitepunk, real name Lasha Mamulashvili, is a Georgian-born electronic music producer and DJ based in Brooklyn, New York. He began dancing at age three, specializing in Georgian national dance before transitioning to street dance and hip-hop. In his teenage years he organized rave events in Georgia and started producing electronic music. He immigrated to the United States on a tourist visa, working multiple jobs while building his career, and obtained his green card in 2016 at age 21. Nitepunk made his first major moves in 2018 with releases on Disciple and Circus Records, and has since landed tracks on Never Say Die, Subsidia, and HARD Recs. His debut album HUMAN dropped in 2023, representing eight years of personal trials. He was named by EDM.com as one of 2023's best producers. His sound spans bass music, breakbeat, dubstep, drum and bass, and trap.
