Julian McCarthy, known as MCR-T, is a German DJ, rapper, producer and songwriter based in Berlin. A central figure in the Live From Earth collective, his music fuses ghetto-tech, Miami bass, gabber, hip-hop and techno with raucous live vocals. Key releases include the EP Kraft (2018) and the album Not the Same (2024). He has performed at major European venues including Berghain and Blitz.
