Madam X (Christiana Vassilakis) is a Greek-British DJ, label head, and club impresario known for her bass-heavy, genre-crossing sets spanning grime, techno, dubstep, garage, and dancehall. She grew up in Milton Keynes and discovered grime while studying in Manchester, where she co-founded BPM (Big People Music) in 2010. She runs the Kaizen label, championing experimental bass music and emerging artists. Her radio residencies include BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Rinse FM, and NTS.
