Samuel Barry, known as Lil Texas, is a hardcore electronic music producer and DJ from Dallas, Texas, now based in Los Angeles. A former jazz bass player and Berklee College of Music dropout, he pioneered the Texcore movement with his breakout 200 BPM track "I Am Excited" in 2018. His transgressive performances and relentless tempo have earned him spots at EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Ultra Music Festival, plus a remix of Lady Gaga and Elton John's "Sine From Above." He scored Rick Owens' Spring/Summer 2023 Men's Fashion Show in Paris and has released on labels including Masters Of Hardcore, Afterlife, and Barong Family.
