Alex Medellin, known as Late Night Radio, is a Denver-based electronic music producer and multi-instrumentalist originally from Big Bear, Southern California. Beginning his production journey in 2010, he relocated to Colorado to pursue live performance and quickly became a staple of the state's thriving electronic scene. Guided by his mantra "emotion over energy," Medellin blends electro-soul, hip-hop, funk, and jazz influences into a signature sound rooted in soulful grooves and deep sampling. His wildly popular Vinyl Restoration series of old-school mixes showcases his hip-hop roots, while albums like Pocket Full of Dreams (Philos Records) and Further into the Night highlight his introspective, genre-crossing artistry.
