Kasabian are an English rock band formed in Leicester in 1997. Originally fronted by Tom Meighan, the group rose to prominence with their self-titled debut album in 2004, blending British rock with spacey psychedelia and electronic influences. Seven of their eight studio albums have reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. Following Meighan's departure in 2020, guitarist and songwriter Serge Pizzorno took over as lead vocalist. Known for their electrifying live shows, Kasabian headlined the Glastonbury Festival in 2014 and have won multiple Q Awards and NME Awards. Their latest album, Happenings, was released in 2024.
