Chicago-born DJ and producer John Summit (John Walter Schuster) rose from an accounting career at Ernst & Young to become one of dance music's biggest names. His 2020 breakout "Deep End" on Defected Records became the longest-running Beatport No. 1 that year, followed by hits like "Where You Are" with Hayla and collaborations with Sofi Tukker. He runs the Experts Only label and released his debut album Comfort in Chaos in 2024, with sophomore album Ctrl Escape due April 2026.
