edm · dance pop · progressive house · electro house
Swedish electronic music project formed in Stockholm in 2012 by Christian "Bloodshy" Karlsson (of Miike Snow and Bloodshy & Avant) and Linus Eklöw (Style of Eye). Known for merging festival-sized EDM energy with pop songwriting, Galantis broke through with platinum-certified singles "Runaway (U & I)" and "No Money," and albums Pharmacy, The Aviary, and Church. Karlsson, a Grammy-winning producer behind Britney Spears' "Toxic," has continued the project solo since Eklöw's departure around 2020.
