William Sami Étienne Grigahcine, known as DJ Snake, is a French DJ and record producer born on June 13, 1986, in Paris to Algerian parents. He grew up in Ermont and started DJing at 14. He gained international fame with his 2013 single "Turn Down for What" featuring Lil Jon, and has since released hits like "Lean On" with Major Lazer and MØ, and "Let Me Love You" with Justin Bieber. His studio albums include Encore (2016) and Carte Blanche (2019).
