Delta Heavy (often stylised as DELTΔ HEΔVY) is an English drum and bass duo consisting of Ben Hall and Simon James, formed in London in 2009. The pair met at Nottingham University in 2003 and reunited in London to combine Simon's traditional musical background with Ben's sound engineering expertise. They first signed to Viper Recordings in 2009 before being picked up by RAM Records in 2010. They broke through with their 2012 single "Get By", which entered the UK Indie Chart at number 30. The duo has released three studio albums: Paradise Lost (2016) on RAM Records, Only in Dreams (2019), and Midnight Forever (2024) on their own self-titled independent label launched in 2022. Their sound spans drum and bass, dubstep, and bass music, with later work incorporating melodic techno, UK rave, indie, and electronica influences.
