London-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer known for his raw, uncompromising style of techno. Real name Dax Heddon, he began DJing on pirate radio at age 15, working through the UK drum and bass scene before discovering techno in Ibiza in 2007. Founder of the Monnom Black label, he has headlined major events including Awakenings, Berghain, and Bassiani, and is renowned for marathon DJ sets. His debut album Shades of Black (2015) was named Mixmag Album of the Month and reached No.1 on Juno Records. Ranked in DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, and Groove Magazine top 100 DJs, he has also been featured on BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.
