Ben Thomson, known as Ben UFO, is a London-based DJ and co-founder of the Hessle Audio label alongside Pearson Sound and Pangaea. Starting on pirate radio station Sub FM in 2007, he has built a reputation as one of the most versatile and respected selectors in contemporary dance music, notably without a production career. His sets span house, techno, UK bass, jungle, grime, and dubstep, and he hosts a regular show on Rinse FM. His BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix was shortlisted for mix of the year in 2021.
