The Reytons are a British indie rock band from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, formed in 2017. The four-piece features frontman Jonny Yerrell, lead guitarist Joe O'Brien, bassist Lee Holland, and drummer Jamie Todd. Known for their heavily accented, working-class indie rock sound, they built a dedicated grassroots following through relentless touring and a fiercely DIY approach, famously operating without a record label. After a run of EPs, their debut album Kids Off The Estate (2021) reached number 11 on the UK Albums Chart. In 2023, they achieved a landmark UK number one with their second album What's Rock and Roll?, a rare feat for a fully independent act. They followed with Ballad of a Bystander in January 2024 and played their biggest show to date on 6 July 2024 — a 20,000-capacity sold-out homecoming at Clifton Park in Rotherham, the largest live music event the town has ever hosted.
