The Bloody BeetrootsFestival appearances

The Bloody Beetroots is the electro/punk project of Italian producer, DJ, and classically trained musician Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, born in 1977 in Bassano del Grappa. Founded in late 2005 (originally a duo with Tommy Tea, who departed in 2012), the project fuses riot-inducing electro house with the revolutionary spirit of punk rock, futuristic electronic textures, and a DIY ethos. Early singles "Warp 1.9" and "Cornelius" won support from Etienne de Crecy, Alex Gopher, and Steve Aokis Dim Mak, leading to the 2009 debut album Romborama and follow-ups Hide (2013) and The Great Electronic Swindle (2017). Rifo has collaborated with artists as diverse as Paul McCartney, Tom Morello, Perry Farrell, Tommy Lee, and Dennis Lyxzen of Refused. He is instantly recognizable for his black-and-white Venom/Spider-Man-inspired mask, which he rarely removes in public.
