Subatomic SoundsystemFestival appearances

Subatomic Sound System is a New York City-based dub, reggae, bass, and dancehall collective founded in 1999 by producer and selector Emch. The group champions a live dub and bass sound system music movement, adapting 1970s Jamaican sound system culture and dub reggae studio techniques to contemporary genres, technology, and live performance. They served as Lee "Scratch" Perry's preferred ensemble for over a decade, touring worldwide and recreating Black Ark studio aesthetics on stage. Notable collaborations include Mykal Rose (Black Uhuru), Hollie Cook, and Screechy Dan. They are also founders of the Dub Champions Festival.
