Sonny Fodera is an Australian-born, London-based house DJ, producer, and label owner. Raised in Adelaide, he began making hip hop beats in his mid-teens before turning to house music at 18 after seeing Derrick Carter perform. After stints in Melbourne, Ibiza, and San Francisco, he settled in London and founded his imprint Solotoko in 2017. His breakthrough album Frequently Flying (2016) was followed by Rise (2019) and Wide Awake (2021), which peaked in the UK Top 50. His 2024 single Somedays with Jazzy and D.O.D reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart and was certified Platinum by the BPI. Known for groove-driven, emotive, vocal-infused house blending jazz, funk, and hip-hop influences.
