Soltera, the experimental dance music project hailing from Los Angeles, is the creation of Colombian American artist Tania Ordoñez. Drawing inspiration from the San Fernando Valley where backyard shows became the canvas for her artistic evolution, Ordoñez seamlessly blends elements of techno and house with a punk ethos. Soltera has recently expanded into a powerhouse ensemble including artist Sonido Sex on production/ vocals and additional band members fashion designer/ saxophonist Edwin Mohney and bassist Dolomedes. Described as a theatrical and chaotic experience, Soltera’s performances transcend the conventional, offering audiences an immersive sonic journey that pushes boundaries.
