Sofia Isella Miranda is an American alt-pop singer-songwriter, producer, and violinist born January 29, 2005 in Los Angeles. Daughter of Chilean-American cinematographer Claudio Miranda and writer Kelli Bean, she spent her childhood in Taiwan, Canada, Louisiana, and Australia. She began violin at age three and wrote her first song at eight, developing a sound that fuses cinematic orchestration with dark alternative pop. Her lyrics often explore womens empowerment, objectification, and personal transformation. After gaining a following on TikTok, she released her debut EP Im Not Yours (2020) and second EP I Can Be Your Mother (2024), and opened for Melanie Martinez and Taylor Swifts Eras Tour in 2023-2024. Known for tracks like The Doll People, Hot Gum, and Everybody Supports Women, she is currently touring with Florence + The Machine ahead of her album Something is a shell (2026).
