Ehren River Wright, known as SoDown, is an American electronic music producer, DJ, and saxophonist from Boulder, Colorado. Known for his saxophone-infused take on bass music, he blends live instrumentation with bass-heavy electronic production. Raised on hip hop, funk, soul, and reggae, his influences range from Wu-Tang Clan and Method Man to The Meters, Parliament, and James Brown. After being inspired by a Pretty Lights set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2010, Wright spent seven years honing his craft in his parents shed before making his own Red Rocks debut supporting Pretty Lights in 2017. His versatile sound is organized through his GetDown Key, a personal genre atlas split into three categories: SoHeavy, SoGroovy, and SoChill. He has received support from Pretty Lights, Manic Focus, and others, and has performed at major festivals across the US.
