r00bies4ever is the stage name of Lucy Rubinstein, a Chicago-based DJ and producer whose sets move through house, techno, hard groove, UK garage, and R&B. She learned to DJ through WNUR Streetbeat while studying voice and opera at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music, then played Chicago venues including Radius, Spybar, smartbar, and Smoke & Mirrors. Her debut single, “North Star,” a collaboration with Cataract, was released in 2025.
