Pulp are a British rock band formed in Sheffield in 1978 by frontman Jarvis Cocker. After years on the indie circuit, they rose to mainstream fame in the mid-1990s as figureheads of the Britpop movement, with the albums His 'n' Hers and Different Class producing iconic singles like "Common People". Known for Cocker's sharp social commentary and theatrical stage presence, the band reunited for tours in 2011 and 2022 before releasing their eighth studio album, More, in 2025.
