about
LA-based alternative hip-hop duo formed in 2018 by Louie Pastel and Felix, who met at El Camino College in 2013. Named after Wim Wenders's 1984 film, their sound fuses rap and hip-hop with guitar-driven alternative rock, punk, grunge, and emo elements. Breakout projects Boy Anonymous and Red Hand Akimbo (2021) led to debut album Mid Air (2023). They opened for Tyler, the Creator on the Chromakopia World Tour in 2024 and have performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and Camp Flog Gnaw.
