OseesFestival appearances

Osees is the prolific garage rock and psychedelic rock project of vocalist and guitarist John Dwyer, formed in San Francisco in 1997. Originally a solo endeavor under the name Orinoka Crash Suite (OCS), the project evolved through numerous name changes including The Ohsees, Thee Oh Sees, and Oh Sees before settling on Osees in 2020. Known for their ferocious live shows powered by dual drummers, churning bass, and jagged guitars, the band draws from garage punk, krautrock, psych, and experimental rock. Dwyer has released over 28 studio albums with the project, operating through his own Castle Face Records label. Now based in Los Angeles, the band continues to push boundaries, with recent albums incorporating synthesizers and venturing into synth pop territory.
