Mersiv is the creative project of Anderson Benoit Gallegos, a Denver-based electronic music producer and DJ who has been crafting his distinctive freeform bass sound since 2015. Influenced by early classical training and artists like Tool and Seether, Gallegos found electronic music as a crucial expressive outlet. His sound, which he coined "Pretty Dark Loud," blends deep emotion with dynamic, heavy-hitting energy. The Mersiv Sound Project gained momentum at Electric Forest 2018, followed by his debut Digital Eden EP in 2019 and the breakout single "Beautiful & Filthy" on WAKAAN. His debut album Pretty Dark Loud showcased his ability to meld emotional depth with diverse sounds across 20 tracks. In 2025, he headlined Red Rocks Amphitheatre with his pioneering Audiosphere immersive audio system and released the album 444. Gallegos is also head curator of MorFlo Records, a platform designed to showcase artists tapping into flow through art.
